Having grown up around antiques and auctions, Jeff now serves as President of John Moran Auctioneers. Working full-time with the company since 1988, Jeff has assisted thousands of clients looking to buy and sell or in need of accurate valuations. Over the past 30 years, Jeff has been responsible for generating sales revenue in excess of $450 million dollars for his consignors.

Specializing in 19th and 20th century California and American paintings, Jeff has been responsible for researching, expanding and cultivating the auction market for many Southern California artists. He meanwhile maintains broad knowledge of antiques and fine furnishings, including rugs, silver, ceramics, jewelry, and books. Over the past decade, Jeff has performed pro-bono benefit auctions for many public and private institutions; in particular, he has helped the Santa Barbara Historical Museum raise over $1 million in funds.
