American | California | Western Fine Art | Watercolor | Scene Painting | Women in Art
For over fifty years, John Moran Auctioneers has been known for our unparalleled track record in achieving excellent prices for California & American fine art. Moran’s was the first auction house to sell a work by a California artist for over 1 million dollars and continues to bring outstanding works by pre-war artists such as Guy Rose, Granville Redmond, Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel, Edgar Alwin Payne, and many more to market in our highly anticipated California & American Fine Art auctions. Select works are also featured in our California Living, ReDesigned, and Studio Fine Art auctions throughout the year.
Do you have something to sell?
Ever wondered how much your Fine Art, Jewelry, and Fine Furnishings could be worth at auction, and how to sell it?
Morgana Blackwelder has been in the antique business since 2004.
Morgana joined Moran’s full time in 2007 as a client service specialist. In this position, she was pivotal in the expansion of the jewelry department and creating stand-alone sales in coordination with the sale director. During this same time, Morgana became one of Moran’s fine art cataloguers and found her true love of fine art.
After taking a sabbatical to travel the world, she has returned to a full-time position as our Director of Fine Art.
