Art of the American West

Moran’s Art of the American West auction will be held on Tuesday August 31st, 2021 at 10 am PST. Featuring two large collections of American Indian silver jewelry with large selections of ketohs, bolos and other fantastic jewelry by both historical and contemporary silversmiths Mark Chee, Watson Honanie, and master Zuni stone carver Leekya Deyuse. Selections of sculpture in both bronze and silver from esteemed artists Earle Heikka, Bud Boller, Don Pollard, James Regimbal, and Stan Johnson to name but a few will be offered. Artwork will feature Bill Anton, Johnnie Ross, Edgar Paxson, and Richard Thomas among others. Turn of the century Navajo textiles, basketry, beadwork and pottery as well as a nice selection of Stickley furniture and wester items round out the sales offerings.
