Likely from a polyptych, the polychrome painted wood icons panels with gilt details, 2 pieces
Each: 57.25" H x 19.5" W x 1.5" D

  • Provenance: Denis Martin du Nord, Paris

  • Condition: Each overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. With rust to prexisting iron hinges/hardware, with later-added mounts for wall hanging. Each with French paper export label to verso, one with wax stamp, possibly dated 1788.
