  • Notes: Note: Otto Heino (1915 - 2009) was an American ceramic artist who worked with his wife, Vivika (1910 - 1995), from the 1950s in a studio in Ojai, California, until her death. The Heinos worked with great ceramicists like Glen Lukens, Gertrude and Otto Natzler and Beatrice Wood. Otto and Vivika produced utilitarian pieces with clean lines and unique glazes which sought to re-define the context of ceramics in the realm of modern art. Their work is in numerous international private and museum collections.Otto continued working with the same dedication after Vivika's death and held a number of solo exhibitions. He was awarded the gold medal from the Sixth Biennial International de Ceramique at Vallauris, France
  • Condition: Good condition overall. General light marks and scratches commensurate with age. With a small glazing flaw (2 cm)- to middle of body. A few tiny minor chips around edge of rim and base. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
