Late 18th/early 19th century, each with Royal Porcelain Manufactory blue underglaze maker's marks, each gilt-highlighted and hand-painted with birds, butterflies and insects on a white ground, the sauce boats further adorned with ribbon-tied garlands, comprising a shaped rectangular vegetable dish (2'' x 11.75'' W x 11.75'' D) and two dual-handled sauceboats (each: 3.5'' H x 8.75'' W x 7.25'' D), 3 pieces, est: $600/900.

  • Condition: Each in overall good condition, with minor wear, scuffs and losses to gilt highlights commensurate with age. One sauceboat with scattered shallow nicks to ring foot. Vegetable dish with an approximately 1.5''-long stable hairline crack extending from rim.
