A Continental cuirassier suit of armor

Possibly German, homogenous, comprising a helmet, a gorget, pauldrons, vambraces, gauntlets, a breastplate, a backplate, tassets, cuisses, and poleyns joined with steel rivets and leather straps raised on a later-added stand, a later-made pair of non-matching boots accompanies the lot
Assembled without stand: 55" H x 25" W x 22" D

  • Condition: Overall good condition with tarnishing, scratches, dents, rubbed wear, and nicks commensurate with age. Most leather straps likely replaced. Fabric lining gone. A 1" x .75" area of the pauldron broken off.
