The detachable double-gourd cloisonne vase with polychrome scrolling foliate motif against a brick-red ground to the top and polychrome floral and butterfly motifs against a blue ground to the bottom with gilt-metal beaded band to the center

  • Provenance: The Alan Schneider Collection
  • Condition: Overall good condition with minor shelf wear and light scuffs commensurate with age. Losses to enamel to upper and lower rims. Small area of chipping to enamel surface of top piece. Minor scattered recesses to the enamel throughout. With "articles de Chine et du Japon" label to underside.
