  • Notes: In the "1958-59 wholesale Spratling catalogue the price was $73; 1967 Spratling catalogue the price was $107.60. This design was included in the 1965 traveling U.S. museum exhibit, 'The World of William Spratling.' The complete tea service in this design is in the permanent collection of the Birmingham Museum of Art. This design was awarded a prize by the National Sindicate of Silver Manufacturers of Mexico. Spratling's drawing of a very similar teapot is included in the William Spratling Folio of Drawings." Phyllis M. Goddard
