  • Notes: According to tradition, the subject of this painting is Rosemary Lick, whose family constructed the Lick Observatory and Lick Pier in Venice, CA. Rosemary Lick was a relative of the consignor and granddaughter of George Zobelein, founder of the Eastside Brewery of Los Angeles in 1907.
