  • Notes: This portfolio was originally a group of 20 works but there are two works missing:

    "MAKOYEPUK ("WOLF - CHILD") - BLOOD," Portfolio 18, plate 647
  • Condition: Overall good condition. In original canvas and leatherette bound portfolio. Case ribbon ties have broken. Title page has heavy toning and spots of staining.
    Each plate: Overall good condition. Most tipped down inside the original Van Gelder Zonen paper mounts. Some images have rippling to paper from the tacking. Some have a later-added overmat. Each image is slightly toned with mat burn. Four works are framed and not examined out of the frame: Blackfoot Country; Bow River; Placating the Spirit of a Slain Eagle; and Oksoyapiw.
    Portfolio: Shows signs of wear with fraying and torn spine at the bottom. "18" is letter pressed into the leatherette binding. Some ties are torn.

    Largest frame: 24.25" H x 28" W x 1.125" D

In circumstances where Moran's arranges for such third-party services, Moran's may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee.
