  • Notes: Two baskets similar to this design are illustrated on page 74 of "Native American Basketry of Southern California," by Christopher L. Moser, and are attributed to Margarita of Murrieta.
  • Condition: Overall good condition with dust accumulation and wear commensurate with age and use. Approximately five stitch losses scattered to rim, scattered interior stitch losses with the largest section to the hind quarter of one horse, 0.75" L. Further losses from shelf wear to underside.
