Welcome To John Moran Auctioneers Inc.

Since 1969, JMA has grown steadily into a full-service auction house offering quality objects with complete personalized service to our clients.

We hold our monthly auctions at the spacious Pasadena Convention Center, and have presented more than 400 successful auctions over the last 38 years. These auctions have generated over $150 million dollars in sales for our consignors.

Clients from around the country come to Pasadena to attend our auctions of California & American Paintings, held three times a year. We catalogue and sell 250-275 paintings per sale, and frequently set new records for artists. In 2001, we set the world auction record for the sale of a painting by a California artist when Guy Rose's "Early Morning, Summertime" realized ($)1.2 million.

Our monthly Estates & Fine Furnishings auctions are where private parties, collectors, dealers, decorators and other bidders from across California gather for the action. State-of-the art technology is used to promote and market our clients' items such as: quality furniture, silver, continental porcelain, crystal & artglass, clocks, oriental rugs, American Indian, oil & watercolor paintings, jewelry, unusual accessories and more.

JMA is a family owned and operated company, with numerous highly regarded employees.  We look forward to building new client relationships each day. Give us a call at (626) 793-1833 or email us at info@johnmoran.com  Our professionalism and enthusiasm will help you reach your goals.
