- Notes: Note: This was one of the first types of Tiffany lamps which used kerosene. Although the shade is not signed, it has been confirmed to be a very early version of the ''Acorn'' pattern. A similar early lamp with an acorn shade and slightly simpler base, not electrified sold David Rago, 16 September 2006, lot 402 ($8,000). - Condition: The shade height : 5.5''. Shade measures 8.5'' at crown. Base measures 9.5'' H x 8.5'' diametermeter. Generally good condition overall. The original kerosene cannister and wick are retained. The shade has typical wear overall. With polsih residue to crevices of leading. Uneveness to top of chimney. Lamp base with overall light spotting and corrosion to surface. The switch spindle is sheared off and needs to be repaired. Inspected and authenticated by Paul Crist of Crist Studios.
