Early 20th century, each tightly coiled, of willow foundation sewn with split sedge root and embellished with clamshell beads and abalone, including an oval tray (1.25'' H x 10'' W x 7.75'' D), a circular bowl further embellished with feathers (2.75'' H x 10.25'' Dia.) and a circular tray (1.25'' H x 11.5'' Dia.), 3 pieces, est: $500/700.


  • Condition: Each with general sun fading and losses to beads and cordage. The first with remnants of previously-applied feathers visible and approximately four lost stitches. The second with scattered areas of lost stitches, primarily to exterior body. The third with scattered small holes/evidence of insect damage and scattered lost stitches throughout; approximately 20 lost to rim.
