  • Condition: Visual: Dust accumulation, specks of grime, craquelure throughout with some areas of unstable craquelure with attendant specks of pigment loss scattered throughout, stretcher bar creases along each side and central bar, minor varnish discoloration, some areas of wear to the pigment, all commensurate with age. An approximately quarter-sized area of pigment loss near the right hoof of the horse, and other occasional clusters with smaller pigment losses. A 2" horizontal reverse pressure mark near the upper right edge, attendant with a touch-up and patch verso.

    Blacklight: Touch-ups throughout, the largest area measuring 5" H x 4" W along the tree trunk with an attendant patch, verso, and other areas of touch-up scattered throughout the outer edges, with attendant patches, and some smaller areas of touch-up scattered in the figure and horse.

    Frame: 37.5" H x 32.5" W x 3.25" D

Shipping. As a courtesy to buyers, Moran provides a list of preferred shippers who are in the business of transporting antiques and works of art. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping estimates and deliveries. Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
