Late 19th/early 20th century, with blue beehive mark and titled ''Die Entfuhrung Europas'' verso, signed to plaque ''J. Heer'', the circular plaque with a scrolling foliate gilt-painted cobalt-ground surround centered by a rectangular reserve hand-painted with a scene of Europa seated on the back of Jupiter disguised as a white bull, surrounded by Europa's attendants and winged putti, all festooning the bull with flowers, framed in a circular gilt wood frame, the plaque: 19.5'' Dia., est: $3000/4000.
