  • Exhibited: An exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, according to multiple labels affixed verso.
  • Condition: Visual of each: Dust accumulation, specks of grime, dirt, slight and scattered frame abrasion, and minor darkening to the pigment commensurate with age. The larger interior with fine craquelure scattered throughout. A 9" horizontal crease and folding, attendant with the lifting of the canvas from the board along the upper edge. The "Rye" painting with the canvas slightly loose from the stretcher, with attendant uneven puckering of the canvas throughout. A pea-sized area of pigment loss in the upper left quadrant. A 0.625" H x 1" W sticker affixed to the lower left corner, of the recto canvas, with attendant pigment loss.

    Blacklight: No evidence of restoration.

    Frame of largest: 26" H x 19.5" W x 1" D

Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
