  • Notes: Michele has exhibited her art in Europe, Australia, and Japan as well as nationally in the US. She started her career as a Branding and Commercial and Graphic artist. She was head designer at Airbrush company Zox Studios for 10 years in her early twenties with 20 employees under her care, and continued as a freelance artist after the company dissolved. Michele continued working as a mural artist for homes and businesses. She worked for Colombia records creating album covers for such artists as Earth Wind and Fire and Van Morrison, and as Evil Knievel's personal artist, doing his race cars, motor bikes, and semi-trucks. Then in the late 90's changed to the fine arts, where she has been showing her work in galleries and museums.

    Michele is self-taught coming from a family of artists. She discontinued her art education when she was just 18 years old, and began as a career artist when she was just 16. Michele is of Japanese and American heritage and her work is a synthesis of East and West. She is a Zen teacher and senior teacher in the Martial Arts of Aikido and Iaido sword. She is also a Hypnotherapist and NLP master trainer, and facilitator of Family Systems Constellation work for individuals and organizations.

    She is Co-founder of Manzanita Village retreat center in Southern California where her art studio is located in the mountains of San Diego County.

    Her work is integrated in her activism, and spirituality. Michele is also a Performance artist often combining her 2D artwork with Performance.
