    This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed and dated on March 24, 1980 by the director of the gallery mentioned above, as well as other documents related to its acquisition during February and March of that year.
  • Condition: Overall generally good appearance. Full margins with deckled edges. Very pale mat staining and soft cockling showing slightly in the outer portion of the margins. Three pinhead-sized areas of insect damage in the lower left margin corner along with a 1.5" diagonal handling crease across the tip of the same margin corner. A pinpoint-sized foxmark in the lower margin, just below the signature, and two more foxmarks in the deckle of the upper margin edge. Slight surface rubbing throughout the margins, visible only in raking light. The sheet is hinged to the back mat from the verso of the margin corners.

Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
