Last quarter 20th century, inscribed to one figure's foot ''Chan Pc 5'', a leather sculpture depicting two seated men playing Go, raised overall on a natural wood base, 11.75'' H x 19.5'' W x 16.5'' D, est: $1200/1800. Note: Liu Miao Chan was declared a ''National Living Treasure'' by the government of Taiwan in 1986, and the artist's work was the subject of a month-long one-man show held at the National Cultural Gallery in Taipei (at the time, an unheard-of honor for a single artist).
