  • Notes: Note: Gabriel Washington Weimer was the surveyor and an assistant superintendent of Yellowstone Park in the 1880s. According to the family, Weimer met Brown in Yellowstone and acquired the present work directly from him
  • Condition: Visual: Generally good condition with stable, scattered craquelure.Blacklight: There is an area of touch-up in the upper left quadrant to address a repaired 6 in. tear with minor, scattered spots of touch-up in the sky. There is a scattered 4 in. vertical line of touch-up to the right of the tree in the upper right corner. There are minor, scattered spots of touch-up in the landscape.
