FIVE ENGLISH MINIATURE WINDSOR CHAIRS STUART KING
- Condition: The smallest: 9 x 6 x 5. All very precisely and well made. All with a honey color to finish overall. Chair with eight spindle back with left arm cracked at seat and repaired. Stuart King was born in the Buckinghamshire village of Holmer Green in 1942. He became enamored of the centuries of provincial English craftsmanship, examples of which he grew up around and studied. He is a master woodworker and lectures on the subject of treen and contributes regularly to ''Woodturning'' magazine.
