Notes: This highest quality watch made by the E. Howard Watch Co. is an excellent example of the "Golden Age" of the American pocket watch chronometer. Production for this watch model was limited with a retail price of $350 at the turn of the 20th century, and was likely made to compete with other high-quality models being introduced between 1900 and 1910 with staggaring price points. Construction and design highlights include a freesprung balance, sapphire jewels, and jeweled bank pins. Also a rare find, the present example is accompanied by the original fitted box, certificate/license and outer box.
