- Notes: Note: A photograph of a portrait of Dedrick Stuber painted by Phil Paradise is included with the lot. Stuber wrote the following inscription about 'Moonlight' on the photograph: My dear Mr. West: As stated when you were at my home today you now have what I honorably feel is the best landscape I have ever painted. And this is with some feeling of regret that I have it no more, it is with a great sense of pleasure to know it is now in the hands of one who knows quality, and represents me and my aims.
