Late 19th/early 20th century, the scrolling foliate-inlaid birdseye maple top raised on three outswept scroll legs mounted to a tripartite beveled base centered by a carved central support in the form of a seated boy holding a dragon, 29.5'' H x 38.75'' Dia., est: $1500/2000.

  • Condition: Overall good condition, with scattered scratches, chips and losses to veneer commensurate with age; the largest an approximately .875'' x .5'' chip to apron and a 1.75'' x 1.25'' chip to tabletop. Structurally sound. Losses to one of figure's thumbs and one of dragons' arms. Shrinkage cracks to tripartite base, the largest approximately 2''. Evidence of woodworm to base.
