  • Notes: This lot is accompanied by the certificate of authenticity, a Severin Watch Group pamphlet describing the Art2Watch concept, and a photo of Erte and Tony Clark, Executive Director of The Severin Wunderman Foundation.

Designed by ART2WATCH, in collaboration with Erte and the celebration of his 95th birthday. Erte's vision of the pocket watch came to life as he drew the black and white watch dial to represent a daisy. For the hands, he saw male and female figures. For the rear lid, Erte created a female laying on crescent moon and male standing over rising sun as he thought that man was born of a woman's flower and night brings forth the day. It took approximately 28 firings to create the enamel process. Designed and made to raise funds for Severin Wunderman Museum.
  • Condition: Great overall condition. Dial: great condition. Movement: great condition, sets, winds, and runs. Case: great condition, rear lid closing hinge may need minor adjustment to close firmly. Moran's does not guarantee the working condition of clocks and watches.
