    Private estate, California
  • Condition: Visual: Slight varnish discoloration and scattered delicate craquelure throughout, all of which shows primarily in the lighter pigments. Stretcher bar creasing along the upper edge, with an attendant touched-up repair visible in the right half of this creasing. Three old patches, verso, the largest of which measures 3.25" H x 6" W and relates to the touched-up repair spanning the right portion of the upper stretcher bar crease as just described. The canvas has been strip-lined.

    Blacklight: Numerous large and small touch-ups scattered throughout, dating from several different eras. The largest of these is attendant with the repaired area near the upper edge, at right, mentioned above.

Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
