    Private estate, California
  • Condition: Recto: The paperboard is time and light-stained, with uneven darker time stains along the lower outer edge. The lower right corner is dog eared and bent, with a small loss to the top layer of the board. A pea-sized paperboard loss at the center of the extreme left vertical edge and a few other scattered small paper losses along the lower edge. There are a few unobtrusive paperboard tears in places along the lower edge and the lower portion of the left edge, the largest is about 3" H. There are occasional scattered abrasions and surface scratches, mostly unobtrusive, the largest area is within the gentleman's coat, approximately 0.5" H x 2" W overall.

    Verso: Similar light-staining, time staining, and toning. One of the tears noted above has been taped with "Scotch" tape and there is an irregular-shaped area of brown paper tape along the lower left edge, measuring 1.5" H x 2.375" W. There are occasional scattered abrasions and surface scratches, mostly unobtrusive, the most prominent consists of a few vertical horizontal linear abrasions in the gentleman's coat, 1" W and smaller.

In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
