- Notes: Note: Clara Driscoll worked for Tiffany Studios, directly under Louis Comfort Tiffany for about 20 years, finally leaving the firm upon her marriage in 1909. During her tenure at the firm she was responsible for the design of the vast majority of the most famous designs produced by Tiffany Studios, particularly naturalistic floral works. Her notes and drawings show floral banded design shades with a group of three horizontal bands at the bottom with the floral and foliate motifs breaking through the strict geometric background
- Condition: The shade: 7.25''. The lamp base measures 25.5'' H x 7.75'' diameter (9.5'' diametermeter. At base). The shade is in very good condition, with a few floral and foliate panes cracked - none appear loose. The lamp base is sound, with a deep brown patina to surface. With overall pitting and corrosion to surface. Thread to ventilator cap slighly loose. Inspected and authenticated by Paul Crist of Crist Studios. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
