Comprising a model "D" for "Director" film editing viewer, designed 1919, with enameled metal case and three enameled aluminum film reels, two mounted with shot 35mm film; included are two Hollywood Film Co. 35mm film splicers, one Griswold model R-2 film splicer, two Hollywood Film Co. film rewinds, a film synchronizer, and three associated metal parts, 10 pieces
Loaded viewer: 23.125" H x 22.5" W x 9" D; Synchronizer: 5.125" H x 15.125" W x 9.25" D

  • Condition: Each with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, indentations, rubbed wear and paint loss, and oxidation commensurate with age and use. The Griswold splicer with more paint losses and attendant oxidation/rust. Synchronizer personalized with handwritten ink on applied tape: Morriss. One splicer personalized similarly: Property of David Tweet. The viewer lacking power cord. Please note: Each item is untested. Shipping. As a courtesy to buyers, Moran provides a list of preferred shippers who are in the business of transporting antiques and works of art. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping estimates and deliveries. Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
