The white and gilt porcelain service comprising 20 dinner plates (10.75"), 22 lunch plates (9.125"), 19 salad plates (8.125"), 14 crescent salad plates (8.625"), 15 bread and butter plates (6.625"), 24 rim soup bowls (8.125"), 24 fruit/dessert bowls (5.25"), 24 cream soup cups (4.325"), 24 tea cups (3.325"), 45 cream soup/tea cup saucers (5.625"), 22 demitasse cups (2.325"), 18 demitasse saucers (5"), 2 gravy boats (7"), 2 gravy boat underplates (8.5"), 4 lidded tureens (8.625"), 4 vegetable serving bowls (10.75"), 2 round serving trays (13.125"), 1 hot meat serving tray (17"), 1 cold meat serving tray (15"), 1 oval vegetable serving tray (13.625"), 1 squared ovoid vegetable serving tray (13"), sold together with 11 Limoges sauce cups (4") and 11 Limoges saucers (5"), 311 pieces

  • Condition: Each overall good condition with minor shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. Each with scattered rubbed wear to gilt and scattered minor soiling to undersides. The hot meat serving tray with professionally reinforced repair to hairline fracture through half the tray. One crescent salad plate with break to quarter end; the piece accompanies the plate. One crescent salad plate with 1.5" loss to end. One bread and butter plate with 1" chip to bottom edge. Two teacups with pea-sized chips to undersides. One demitasse cup with 1" chip to bottom edge.

Shipping. As a courtesy to buyers, Moran provides a list of preferred shippers who are in the business of transporting antiques and works of art. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping estimates and deliveries. Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
