    According to an article discussing Mario Armond Zamparelli's extensive interest in high-quality design for various products: "His design and choice of quality and color for the translucent crystal glasses of soft mauve and ultramarine blue, display another [facet] of his wide range of creativity. These elegant glasses were designed by Zamparelli as a gift for Howard Hughes's corporate executives."

    This lot is accompanied by two Styrofoam storage forms, which house the thirteen glasses that come from the Howard Hughes estate, each form marked in felt pen: Howard Hughes / Murano. The glasses included in the collection comprise five of the taller and seven of the shorter.

    This lot is additionally accompanied by promotional photographs of the glassware and original design drawings from Mario Armond Zamparelli and Company.
  • Condition: Each overall good condition with minor shelf wear, scuffs, and light scratches commensurate with age. Each with grime and soiling. Each Styrofoam form with soiling and scattered losses.

Shipping. As a courtesy to buyers, Moran provides a list of preferred shippers who are in the business of transporting antiques and works of art. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping estimates and deliveries. Moran, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy to buyers, may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and forwarded by a third-party shipper at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
