- Notes: The model for this sectional stacking bookcase was invented in 1889 by Otto H.L. Wernicke. The design was patented three years later. For another Globe Wernicke bookcase, see lot 57.
- Condition: Good overall condition. Structurally sound. With a honey color to timber overall. Typical marks, nicks and scratches commensurate with age and use. With some dryness and fading, particularly to right side. All door sliding mechanisms work well. Metal elements with spotting and oxidation - does not affect stability.
