A sterling silver and glass vanity set in original suede and satin lined padded fitted case, by Henri Martin, the set comprising a large circular jar, a small circular jar, an oval jar, two large bottles, two small bottles, and a small tray, as well as five assorted natural bristle brushes and a hand mirror frame, 15 pieces

  • Condition: Overall good condition with tarnishing, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. Scattered minor dents and rubbed wear to some silver items. Mirror with larger dent and lacking glass. Some glass items with a few scattered minor nicks to bases, and a few interiors with light residue from previous contents. One small bottle with break and loss to glass stopper, remnant fixed in place. Some brushes with scattered frayed and distorted bristles. One hairbrush with loose handle. Silver purity not established.
    Paper-covered wood case exterior with splits/breaks and damage to lid, as well as scuffing, scratching, mild soiling, tears, and bumping to corners and interior edges. Oxidation and slight distortion to hinges and latches, with one clasp missing fixing latch. Interior of case with dust accumulation, scattered minor scuffs, and light soiling.

In circumstances where Moran arranges for such third-party services, Moran may apply an administration charge of 15% of that service fee. Moran assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by other packers or carriers, even if recommended by Moran. Moran also assumes no responsibility for any damage to picture frames or to the glass therein.
