Second half 19th century
Mahogany and satinwood, the superstructure with a rectangular beveled and brass-molded pediment above three glazed doors each enclosing a single shelf and three short drawers, the desktop fitted with a locking frieze drawer with velvet-lined interior, the compartment further fitted with three short hidden drawers, raised overall on tapering squared legs joined by an X-form stretcher

  • Condition: Overall good condition, with general nicks, scratches, dings, minor separation at joints and wear commensurate with age. More scuffs and scattered minor shallow losses verso. Lacking key. Some evidence of woodworm.
