  • Notes: The Battle of the Dogger Bank, part of the American War of Independence, occurred on August 5, 1781 in the North Sea. The British squadron was commanded by Vice Admiral Sir Hyde Parker, the Dutch squadron by Vice Admiral Johan Zoutman
  • Condition: Overall good condition. General marks, nicks, chips, scratches and rubbing commensurate with age and use. Scattered chipped losses to case. Lifting to veneer due to shrinkage cracks to carcass. Lacking central finial. Works apparently complete. Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches.
