Second half 18th century, of walnut construction, the outset beveled bow-front top over a conforming body fitted with three long relief-carved locking drawers with cast rocaille hardware, on scroll feet, 40'' H x 54.5'' W x 29.5'' D, est: $2000/3000.

  • Condition: Overall good condition, with general nicks, scratches, separation at joints and wear commensurate with age. Previously refinished with rebuilt interior elements and modern reinforcements. Replaced hardware. Evidence of woodworm; scattered losses verso due to insect damage, the largest approximately 2.5'' x 1''. An approximately 10''-long triangular area of replaced timber to the top along one side of center seam; approximately 2'' at the widest point. Lacking key.
