First quarter 20th century, apparently unmarked, a brass cloisonne figural group of a donkey wearing rectangular hinged-lid saddle bags, further adorned with gilt-painted bells, modeled standing atop a naturalistic base further mounted with a rectangular flower box issuing a wire tree with jade leaves and pink stone flowers and fruit, raised overall on a conforming carved wood base, the sculpture: 11.25'' H x 10'' W x 7'' D, est: $500/700.
