Late 19th / early 20th century, in the style of Gebruder Thonet and Jacob and Josef Kohn, of mahogany stained beechwood construction, on four legs rising to two outswept supports, one terminating in a turned wood spindle, the swinging body constructed of incurved side supports issuing from a central rib, 56'' H x 53.25'' W x 27'' D, est: $800/1200.

  • Condition: Structurally sound. Overall good condition. Scattered in-filled repairs and restorations to gouges and cracks; one larger crack to one side support on right side near center joint. Blue residue to one leg and underside of central rib, probably paint. Refinished. General marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
