Nathan Martinez has worked full time for John Moran Auctioneers since 2005. Nathan coordinates all of Moran’s marketing and media promotion both in print and digital media, including the design and creation of advertising materials and printed catalogues for upcoming auctions and events, functional in-house design, and any and all other outgoing materials featuring John Moran’s company brand. His latest artistic endeavor has been remodeling Moran’s website.
Nathan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business with an option in Management from California State University, Los Angeles. Blending his business training with his passion for fishing, Nathan took a position as a sales manager at a fishing tackle store after graduation. It was there that he first befriended fellow fisherman John Moran, who subsequently recruited him to join Moran’s.
Nathan has a growing young family and can’t wait to share his love for fly fishing the High Sierras when his kids are old enough. He is happily married to his college sweetheart, and their home is lovingly furnished with Mid-Century Modern art and furniture. Their favorite auction find is an Eyvind Earle that hangs proudly in the living room.
