Morgana has been with Morans since 2005 and now serves as Senior Vice President in addition to the Director of Trusts and Estates for John Moran Auctioneers.

As Director, Morgana oversees the Trusts & Estates department’s team by upholding the mission of building lasting relationships with professionals in the estate planning industry. She does walkthroughs, leads the appraisal team, and creates selections for sale for personal property for auction. In addition, Morgana manages the consignment process throughout the life of the inventory at Moran’s and ensures that all client needs are met during the process.

Combining Morgana’s background in retail in fine art and luxury goods, startup companies, e-commerce, and her art and antique family business, she offers a unique perspective to the Executive team at Moran’s. She has been trained in numerous genres of fine art and decorative objects. Morgana is a fine art generalist specializing in 19th and 20th Century California, Western fine art and sculpture, and Prints and Multiples. She has contributed to more than $500 million in auction sales.

Morgana has been involved in providing pro bono programs for non-profit organizations throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties. She is a member of the Professional Organization for Women in The Arts, Art Table, Los Angeles, The Huntington Library, San Marino, Los Angeles Estate Planning Council, and the National Association of Professional Organizers, Los Angeles.

As Morans lead fine art appraiser, Morgana is USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) compliant and is an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America. In addition, she has studied at Pasadena City College, Citrus Community College, California State University of Los Angeles, and Sotheby’s at The University of Manchester, UK, in Art Business.
