Mission Statement

John Moran Auctioneers brings together buyers and sellers of decorative and fine art, jewelry and fine furnishings. We operate from core principles of approachability, transparency, and honesty in words and deeds. We strive to treat every consignment as our own, and offer a customizable, boutique approach towards consignment, estate liquidation, and valuation services.

Who We Are

From our humble beginnings 50 years ago, we have grown into a trusted, full-service auction house with an international reach. Our experienced team of friendly, knowledgeable specialists can offer you or your clients the highest level of service, whether you are seeking a free auction valuation, a formal appraisal, or a customized estate liquidation plan.

John Moran founded his company on the idea that people should always come first. This policy starts with hiring, training and retaining the best, most experienced team members and is integral in the way we serve our clients.

Because we are a family owned and operated company, our clients are afforded the benefits of an approachable and personal touch. Our model also makes us more adaptable, allowing us to specifically tailor our services to the needs of each client.

Our collective experience, our belief in the property we offer, and the high standards to which we hold ourselves ensures our clients will receive the highest level of service.

This boutique business model has been proven to yield results; Moran’s regularly sets world auction records, and we are always pushing the envelope when it comes to new and exciting specialty auctions, single-consignor legacy sales, and other specialized services.

Our company’s success allows us to invest not only in the growth and empowerment of our employees, but to continue John’s people-first legacy by supporting local charities and volunteer organizations.

In the end, success in our mission means everyone benefits. We are happy you found us, and we look forward to becoming a part of your success story.
