Jewelry & Watches

Specialist

With over a decade of immersion in the intricate world of auctions, Kelly’s woven her passion for fine arts, craftsmanship, and storytelling into a vibrant career. Graduating with a BA in Fine Arts in Printmaking from Albion College laid the groundwork for her artistic journey, infusing her work with a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for aesthetics.

Her love affair with jewelry blossomed during her tenure at Bonhams, where she delved into the realm of gemstones, mineral specimens, and the narratives they encapsulate. In 2016, she further fortified her knowledge by graduating from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), equipping herself with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. This educational milestone enriched her perspective, allowing her to discern the subtle nuances of each gemstone’s journey from mine to masterpiece.

Working with jewelry and minerals isn’t merely a profession for her; it’s a lifelong fascination that fuels her creativity and drives her to unearth the untold stories behind each piece. From the intricacies of Art Deco designs to the timeless elegance of Victorian jewels, she finds solace in the rich tapestry of history and artistry woven into every facet of the industry.

Beyond the glimmer of polished gemstones and precious metals, it’s the human stories imbued within each piece that truly captivates her. Whether it’s a family heirloom passed down through generations or a one-of-a-kind creation crafted by a master artisan, she relishes the opportunity to unravel the tales that transform mere objects into cherished treasures.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys collecting antique postcards, strolling the weekend flea markets and hiking the surrounding mountainous landscapes.
