"Don't buy much but make sure that what you buy is good."

Junior Decorative Art Specialist
Jardine (JAR-deen) joined John Moran Auctioneers in 2014.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Orange County, Jardine has had a love of the arts since childhood. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art History from San Francisco State University and a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America in 2019. While living in “The City,” Jardine spent two years working at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, which houses a collection that echoes many of the items she now sees on a regular basis here at Moran’s, including Arts & Crafts furniture and decor, couture, jewelry, and fine European furnishings.
As Moran’s Junior Decorative Art Specialist, Jardine works with the Decorative Art team in everything from furnishings to décor. Her experience with vintage fashion while working at FAMSF inspired her work in Moran’s luxury department. As the Senior Decorative Arts Cataloguer, Jardine sets the tone on the research and description of “everything not in a frame” and continues her work in the Jewelry department, honing her well-earned skills in gemology. During an auction, Jardine can be found running one of several online bidding platforms, acting as a telephone agent, or assisting with clients’ questions.
In her spare time, she loves to read novels, run, and go on walks with her husband.
