John Moran Auctioneers is offering the last of their Art of the American West sales for 2022. This auction will feature numerous collections, including property from The Estate of George David Sturges, Melinda Wayne Munoz, alongside estate property from Utah, Arizona, California, and beyond. Leading the sale are works by period artist William Koerner, John Sloan, a bronze work by David Manuel of John Wayne, plein art by Hanson Puthuff, contemporary western works by Mian Situ, Logan Hagege, Tim Shinabarger, Harry Jackson, and Gerald Shippen, a large collection of Edward Borein including his personal effects, etching, and drawings. The sale rounds out with a wide array of late 19th and 20th century Navajo textiles, contemporary molesworth-style furniture, and other decorative objects.
