  • Notes: Lita Albuquerque was a part of the 1970's Light and Space movement and gained attention for her pigment pieces created for desert sites. Volcanic Equinox utilizes Albuquerque Lapis blue, she feels that undiluted pigments are symbols of the earth being that they are mined deep within the ground. The Volcano in the center panel is another symbol from deep within the ground a symbol of transformation and is a cooperation of all the elements as it encompasses the power of Earth, Air, Water and Fire.
  • Condition: Generally good condition. Not examined out of frame.
