  • Notes: Note: Benjamin Jonson, born in June 1572, was an English poet best known for his plays, 'Volpone', 'The Alchemist', and 'Bartholomew Fair'. Inscribed in another hand verso: Ben Johnson (sic) by Mr. Maubert
  • Condition: Visual: Generally good condition. Stable crazing with a few minor flecks of paint loss throughout. A surface drip next to the figures left shoulder. Blacklight: No evidence of restoration under blacklight. Uneven varnish. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL.
