A trapezoidal plaque bolo with silver overlay, and complex inlay of turquoise, lapis, coral and opal, on a braided leather strap with elaborate inlaid dangles at tips and heavy points and ferrules, and a hook closure

  • Provenance: The James M. Cole Collection, Visalia, CA
  • Condition: In overall good condition with light tarnishing and scratches commensurate with age and use. Inlay stones with minor faint scattered abrasions. Scattered minor flaws to edges intrinsic to inlay process. Edge inlay at center sides with minor artist's fill. Minor surface reaching fracture to central lapis inlay of one dangle.
