Each plate is inscribed in pencil on the verso of one of the lower sheet corners: "Calendered Rives BFK" which is in keeping with the justification page specifications for the various sets. 20 sets, numbered 1-20, were printed on the particular type of Rives paper just described. The 9 sets reserved for Tamarind were all printed on "Uncalendered Rives" paper.

Most of the plates show the slightest trace of blue dye offsetting within the deckled edges from the original blue fabric-covered clamshell portfolio box. The latter with slight surface soiling and normal shelf-wear.

    Portfolio box: 31.5" H x 24" W x 1" D
